    Description

The Series 3540 winding chuck stands for the highest quality and efficiency in the paper and film industry. Developed and manufactured in Germany, this design impresses in every respect. clamping shells that sit flush over a large area on the core inner diameter (core ID) prevent deformation of the cores and, thanks to the quasi centric clamping, allow a contact roller to be applied; and with permanently applied spring force, a loss of clamping force is virtually impossible.
Pneumatic actuation of the winding chuck activates the reset of the clamping shells, allowing the roll change to be carried out.

    Characteristics

    • Mechanical, clamping force generated automatically by spring force
    • Mechanical centric expansion of the clamping shells based on the inclined-plane principle
    • Pneumatically activatable reset of the clamping system

    cores

    • from diameter 50 – 600mm, made of cardboard, plastic or metal

    Possible standard design

    • for core inner diameter (core ID) 70, 76.2 (3″), 150, 152.4 (6″)
