To verify that a registration is actually made by the owner of an email address, we use the \u201cdouble opt-in\u201d procedure. For this purpose, we log the newsletter order, the sending of a confirmation email and receipt of the reply requested thereby. The time of registration and confirmation, as well as the IP address used, are stored. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mailchimp mailing service provider:<\/strong> For sending our newsletter, we use Mailchimp, a service provided by The Rocket Science Group LLC d\/b\/a Mailchimp, a company of Intuit Inc. (USA). Your email address and the registration data mentioned above are stored on Mailchimp servers in the USA and processed there on our behalf. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Mailchimp. The transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission\u2019s adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR), under which Mailchimp is certified. Mailchimp may also record whether a newsletter has been opened and which links were clicked. This analysis serves to improve our newsletter and is also carried out on the basis of your consent. Each newsletter contains a corresponding link. It will then be erased.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Provision required or necessary:<\/strong> The provision of your personal data is voluntary and based solely on your consent. Without consent, unfortunately we cannot send you our newsletter.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contact form<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you contact us by email or via the contact form with questions of any kind, you give us your voluntary consent for the purpose of contacting you. Mandatory fields in the contact form are your name, your company and a valid email address. These are used to allocate the enquiry and subsequently respond to it. Providing your telephone number and a message is optional.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The information you provide is stored in our website system for the purpose of processing the enquiry and for possible follow-up questions, and is forwarded by email to the responsible employees. Once your enquiry has been dealt with, the personal data will be erased, provided no statutory retention obligations prevent this.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Changes to our data protection provisions<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the Privacy Policy, e.g. when introducing new services.
