Adapters are the right choice when sleeve diameters and materials change during ongoing operation. Instead of keeping a separate clamping device for each format, the adapter is simply fitted onto the existing shaft or carrier head and secured. This noticeably shortens set-up time and saves on investment in additional base systems. Low own weight, a low-maintenance design and standardised components make handling straightforward and the solution economical in the long term.
Which design best suits your application depends on sleeve diameter and actuation: pneumatic with its own expansion bladder or flat tube system, or purely mechanical, with the carrier chuck activating the adapter at the same time. The following four series cover the most common requirements.
